In order to plan a better thing for the merdeka event, lecturer wan us to form a group of 10 to perform a 3-min theaterette.

In this assignment, we need to form a group of six people. For my group, our team member is Wong Jia Lin, Lim Yen Shan, Yan Sue Wen, Michelle Tan Chia Yen, Khor Kar Ting and me. We need to study the urban form, space, surrounding and path note of Penang Times Squre by thinking an idea on what our bst, mask and balloon black box can do at the YOUTH JAM 2010. Then we need to present our idea during monday lecture (15/8)

Black Box - Balloon

This assignment that I do is related to the merdeka countdown event. That is we need to make a black box that can put 6 helium balloon and then balloon can release 1 by 1. The following picture is the step i take to make my black box.

but it had been rejected by our lecturer cos it is too

big and heavy!!

Casket for me!

This time our lecturer want us to sketch out our own casket and the way our six friend carry us. The purpose of this assignment is to let us know our and friends body size. We also need to sketch out our batik and the posture we in the casket.

My Black Box

The black box that i going to sketch is not a black colour box... It is a happy box that my friend give it to me during my 17th birthday! So every time when i look at it, I will feel very happy cos thinking about the present inside. Why i will think about this box is because when the lecturer give this assignment to us is two days before my birthday... that is 6 August and my birthday is at 8 August.

This is the first time I use water colour, thanks to my friend who teach me how to use it and have a result that beautiful like this... haha

Human Dimension

Today, Ar Najib give us a lecture about human dimension. In the human dimension, we learn about humanity, golden section, classical (Greek and Roman) order, Renaissance theory, modular system, ken system, and Anthropometry.

In order for us to understand more about human dimension, we have given a task to draw human dimension by using the length of our body with the measurement of 'jenkal' in the ratio of 1:10, 1:50 and 1:100.

After that, En Wan and En Rusli want us to draw as many cube as possible in an A3 paper.

Our cubes need to have these characteristic:

2) Translucent

3) Transparency

4) Shadow

5) Shape

6) Layer (overlapping)
